Set over six acres and just a few minutes from the town centre, Gundagai Cabins & Tourist Park offers an incredible 30 drive-through, undercover powered ensuite sites, all with sullage disposal. This makes the park an ideal stopover point during your caravan or motorhome holiday.

The park has 14 fully self-contained, air-conditioned cabins with ensuites. These suit a variety of travellers, ranging from couples through to families and bigger travelling groups.

Check out the Gundagai Tourist Suites – six contemporary motel suites complete with their very own coffee machines, the perfect way to recharge your batteries.

If you’re looking for general powered and unpowered sites, Gundagai Cabins & Tourist Park has those too.  These sites are generally beautifully lawned and surrounded by lovely deciduous trees. There’s plenty of room to spread out and some great picnic spots, too.

‘Gundagai’ is a name that many Australians have heard. It’s a classic Australian country town located on the Murrumbidgee River, and one of the most picturesque areas of the Riverina, New South Wales. It’s a terrific place to take a break, at start of the Murrumbidgee canoe/kayak trail. Meet the locals, gain an insight into Australia’s pioneering history and explore the town. The town offers plenty of dining options, with restaurants, pubs, café and takeaway.

Gundagai Cabins & Tourist Park has an excellent camp kitchen, onsite BBQs and a children’s playground.  This is a dog-friendly park: please be sure to mention your dog when you make your booking, and the team will do its best to make sure you’re accommodated.

Interestingly, this park is the only one in Australia with a weighbridge. You can “stay and weigh” to ensure your rig complies with weight restrictions, a definite added bonus for caravan and heavy vehicle guests.

Cabin accommodation includes options like Deluxe Two Bedroom Cabins that can sleep five people comfortably, with fully-covered veranda and an outdoor setting – the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing meal. Deluxe Family Cabins also sleep five, with three bunks available. The Deluxe Twin Share Cabins provide two king singles, while the Superior Cabins – open plan, with a queen bed and covered balcony – are ideal for couples.

Whatever cabin you select at Gundagai Cabins & Tourist Park, they’re all self contained and include great kitchen and cooking facilities.

While you’re in this charming region, don’t forget to take a photo with the Dog on the Tucker Box, 8 kilometres north of Gundagai just off the Hume Highway!
