Highway Tourist Village in Narrabri is a great spot to stop and take a break during your driving holiday or tour of New South Wales.
Narrabri itself is on the Namoi River and just over five hours northwest of Sydney. Highway Tourist Village offers comfortable cabins and a variety of caravan sites for you to choose from. We have great guest laundry facilities and a coutesy car available to all campers.
Clean and well placed cabins with verandahs are available. All cabins are self-contained and come with linen. There are ensuite sites for those travelling in caravans, campervans and tents. Caravan tourers will also find drive-through sites, always handy for those with long loads. There are lawn-covered tent sites for the camping traveller, too.
Highway Tourist Village has lovely camp kitchen and BBQ area for guest use. Stay and relax, grabbing the chance to meet some fellow travellers. There’s a swimming pool when you want to take a dip and a playground to keep the children active. There’s free Wi-Fi.
There is plenty to keep visitors busy in and around Narrabri. Narrabri is a welcoming country town with many stores to explore and places to eat. Make sure you visit the Old Gaol Heritage Museum.
This is the perfect location from which to visit Mount Kaputar National Park including stunning Waa Gorge. Enjoy the views from the park’s lookouts, and take picnic or BBQ provisions to rest while you’re there. The CSIRO Australia Telescope is also nearby and welcomes visitors – it’s open seven days and with free admission.
