Coffin Bay Caravan Park

Known as one of the Eyre Peninsula’s favourite fishing destinations, Coffin Bay is a peaceful beachside township ideal for relaxing. Grab your fishing gear, take a tour of the local oyster farms, or head out to explore the nearby Kellidie and Coffin Bay national parks to see all this region has to offer.

All cabins are self-contained and feature reverse cycle air-conditioning, TV, kitchen or kitchenette, open plan living, and dining. Holiday Villas and Ensuite Cabins have a verandah/deck with outdoor setting.

If you’re towing, the sites are spacious and shady, while the drive-through sites are large enough to accommodate most big rigs. Unpowered camping is set in natural bushland with many native trees for shade. And if you’re travelling with a dog, they’re allowed on sites too.

A great caravan park needs great facilities, and Coffin Bay Caravan Park has a fabulous indoor, fully-equipped camp kitchen and dining area with wall-mounted TV. There’s also BBQ areas and gazebos, modern amenities block with disabled facilities, babies’ bath and change room, fish cleaning area, adventure playground, guest laundry, and free-roaming kangaroos and emus.

Apart from being an angler’s paradise, Coffin Bay visitors can take advantage of the many walking trails, mini-golf, skate park, and a nine-hole golf course. If water activities are your thing, enjoy swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, surfing water skiing, and more.

Fishers of all ages and abilities will find somewhere to wet a line. Think waterways, bays, channels and inlets that are ideal for rock, surf and jetty fishing. Boaties have the choice of launching at four concrete launching ramps that are floodlit at night and protected by groynes. There’s also a good chance they’ll spot pods of dolphins, sea lions, fur seals, and native birds.
