Riverbend Caravan Park
Park features
Riverbend Caravan Park on the mighty Murray River is a great spot to spend long, lazy days on and in the river at Renmark, South Australia.
Located just five minutes from Renmark on the Sturt Highway, Riverbend Caravan Park offers the opportunity for guests to make the most of the amazing location of the park, as well as use it as a base to explore the fabulous Riverland region.
The park has something for everyone — whether you want to stay in a cabin, park your caravan or campervan, or pitch a tent on one of the many large, shady sites.
A number of the cabins are right on the water’s edge, and all are fully self-contained, and include reverse-cycle air-conditioning, TV, and have an outdoor area for dining or relaxing. The riverfront cabins have stunning views over the river, and there’s a specific dog friendly cabin available for booking.
If you’re bringing your caravan or tent, there are plenty of incredible sites, some just metres from the water’s edge. Dogs are welcome too at the manager’s discretion. There’s also a fully-equipped camp kitchen, BBQs and plenty of outdoor eating spaces. Other amenities include a laundry, communal fire pit (seasonal), boat trailer parking, and a kiosk in the front office for bags of ice, beverages and snacks, souvenirs, and gas bottle refills.
At Riverbend Caravan Park, the river is your personal playground. Try kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, birdwatching, bike riding, and using the water toys in the swimming lagoon. If you have access to a boat, there’s a boat ramp adjacent to the park for water skiing, wakeboarding and more.
Even away from the water, Riverbend Caravan Park has plenty to keep the whole family entertained, including playgrounds, jumping pillow, basketball court and on-site aviaries.
With plenty of year-round Riverland sunshine, there’s always something to do in Renmark and the surrounding Riverland region. Glorious fruit and nuts, stunning wines, fabulous restaurants, cafés, pubs, and bars. There’s also a brewery and distillery, coffee roaster and other local produce to be sampled. Each of the Riverland towns has their own appeal and are worthy of further exploration. Be sure to explore the many National Parks, plus the many and varied walking and bike-riding trails.
Family holidays don’t get any better
