Park Info
With uninterrupted views to sea and easy access to Western Australia’s premier wine and holiday region, Margaret River, it’s easy to see why Busselton has been a popular destination since the 1890s.

Surrounded by some of WA’s best beaches, world-class wineries and unspoiled bushlands, Discovery Parks – Busselton take up an enviable position on the southern tip of Geographe Bay.

Featuring direct beach access from all of its accommodation options, this park really is the perfect base from which to explore the Margaret River Wine Region and take advantage of its proximity to what many label Western Australia’s ‘Natural Playground.’

Pet-friendly powered sites nestled among the park’s shady peppermint trees are a budget and family-friendly option for travellers who appreciate the simple pleasures of getting back to nature. For those who enjoy a few more creature comforts, everything from onsite beach huts that can sleep up to 6, safari tents for that authentic glamping experience and a range of fully self-contained 4 and 6-berth bungalows and cottages are popular all-year round.

Onsite facilities here are second to none and include a large indoor heated pool, children’s adventure playground, well-maintained ablutions block, a laundry room and camper’s kitchen as well as access to free gas BBQs. There is 24 hour on-site park management, a secure boom gate at the front of the park and disabled facilities throughout.

At just a stone’s throw away from the sand, the park’s 2-bedroom cottages are a comfortable home away from home, making them the ideal hub for the whole family to experience everything the region has to offer.

These cottages feature one Queen size bed and two sets of bunks in the second bedroom, meaning there is plenty of room for everyone. Meal planning is no problem either with a fully contained kitchen including an electric stove top, fridge, freezer and microwave at your disposal.

A separate toilet and bathroom includes a curtained spa bath, and for those making a week or longer of it, your own laundry with washing machine, clothes dryer and ironing facilities will ensure you have everything to keep your family on the move and at their best!

Other comforts of the 2-bedroom cottages include reverse cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans, a large dining and living area, a TV and DVD player and a large outdoor deck with furniture.

Aside from the wealth of outdoor options to explore with your family, Busselton is known as the ‘Event Capital of the South West’ and has a busy annual calendar of events to suit every member of your tribe. The park is a 15-minute drive from the popular Busselton Golf Club and the world-famous Margaret River Wine Region is just 30 minutes away.
