Tiona Holiday Park
Park features
Set between Seven Mile Beach and Wallis Lake on the edge of Booti Booti National Park in Forster on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Tiona Holiday Park is beach holiday magic.
The park has beach tracks to an endless stretch of beach or you can explore lush native rainforest in the lakeside precinct. Tiona Holiday Park is just 15 minutes from Forster which is famous for its whale and dolphin watching. It has spectacular views along cliff walks and the crystal clear waters of Wallis Lake offers fishing, swimming, snorkelling and other water sports.
You can take the climb to the Mt Hawke Lookout or Bennetts Head Lookout – especially in Whale season from June to November. You might also spot some of the 250-300 bottlenose dolphins who make Forster and Tuncurry their home.
Tiona Holiday Park with its lagoon swimming pool, playground, kiosk and beach tracks to endless beach is the ideal spot to kick back and relax. The park has accommodation to suit all configurations and budgets and it’s the ideal spot to catch up with the extended family and let kids roam. And with an ample laundry, you won’t be faced with the post-holiday washing blues. Dogs are welcome although conditions apply and you can even have a campfire out of fire season.
The Beach House sleeps up to 12 people and there are 14 Lodge Rooms with bunk beds set among the cabbage tree palms on the lake, beside the swimming pool catering for large groups. The Lodge Rooms have linen and access to the camp kitchen and barbecues, where you can cook up a storm and swap stories with fellow travellers. There are a range of beachside cabins and eco-spa cabins, just metres from the beach, or Sand Dune cabins by the lake and the Lake House which sleeps 8. Cabins come equipped with linen, crockery, cutlery, comfy seating and dining areas. Or there are powered caravan and camping sites nestled among the trees by the beach, with concrete pads and grass sites to choose from.
