Jindabyne is best known for the fabulous ski fields which are covered in snow during the winter, however the area is equally as popular for the spectacular scenery and outdoor activities which can be enjoyed under the gorgeous summer sun. A destination for all seasons, the best place to stay when visiting the area is undoubtedly Discovery Parks – Jindabyne, nestled on the shores of the huge lake which shares the area’s name.
There are a range of accommodation choices available for all sizes of group and all budgets throughout the year. The Standard Cabins sleep four people comfortably with different layouts depending on whether you’ve arrived as a family or a group of friends. They include well-appointed kitchens, private bathrooms and good size sitting areas to relax in after a busy day enjoying the outdoors.
For the budget minded ski or hiking group who is looking for a comfortable place to sleep without any unnecessary extras, the Economy Cabins are ideal. Offering sleeping quarters only, or beds and a kitchenette, guests are free to use all of the rest of the camp facilities knowing that they have cosy place to rest their heads when the day is over.
However, for those visitors who are after a bit more luxury, the Deluxe Cabins offer large kitchens and bathrooms, with the new Deluxe 2-Bedroom Cabins even coming complete with a fireplace. Imagine snuggling up in front of it with the snow falling outside, sipping a hot drink and feeling exhausted after an exciting day on the slopes.
Naturally, visitors with a caravan or tent are most welcome at Discovery Parks – Jindabyne. There are plenty of sites available in various sizes so the park is able to accommodate even the largest of vans. There are also plenty of unpowered sites for the tent or the campervan, beneath the mature trees and resting on plenty of grass.
There are plenty of facilities at Discovery Parks – Jindabyne which all guests are welcome to use. Which includes a playground for the kids, as well as a bike station to keep your bikes safe and maintained between rides and a local boat ramp from which you can launch your boat or canoe on to the lake.
