Park Info

There’s no need to pick between the beach, lake, and national park adventures when you stay at Lakesea Park.

Located in South Durras on the NSW South Coast (only a 20-kilometre drive from Batemans Bay), Lakesea Park is bordered by Durras Beach and Durras Lake, which makes enjoying water activities a breeze. In fact, this coastal paradise is the perfect spot for all your favourite outdoor adventures, from surfing at local beaches to hiking through nearby forest. Cast out a fishing line. Paddle a canoe. Go birdwatching. Pick a direction and start exploring. Swim and relax on the sand, with the beach just a short walk away from the park.

Campers can spread out on spacious and shady grassed sites, with the option to enjoy a campfire on an open wood fire drum/BBQ (weather permitting). Ensuite sites are also available. Cabin guests can choose from a range of self-contained accommodation, sleeping between four to seven guests. Highlights include the Elevated Seaside Cabins overlooking Beagle Bay or the Lakeside Cabins with views of Durras Lake. Thanks to the abundant nature setting, the park frequently welcomes wildlife visitors, like colourful birds and curious kangaroos.
