Park Info
Wintersun Cabin and Caravan Park is a shady spot, just 2kms from the centre of Alice Springs, offering comfy, clean accommodation and grassy sites.
Alice Springs and surrounds are chock-a-block with bucket-list adventures, including hot air ballooning, camel rides and wildlife experiences. You can take a drive out to the Ellery Creek Big Hole, watch the walls of Standley Cavern turn bright red at noon and explore Glen Helen and Ormiston Gorge in the West MacDonnell Ranges or head east to see the Aboriginal rock art at Emily Gap or 4WD into the N’Dhala Gorge to see more than 5000 ancient rock carvings in the East MacDonnell Ranges. Taste the fusion food formed through the many cultures that meet in the NT – dine under the stars in markets or take a food tour to try some Indigenous delicacies.
Wintersun Cabin and Caravan Park with its country hospitality is the perfect base from which to sample the delights of the Red Centre. The park has 1 and 2-bedroom cabins with queen and double beds and bunks – all cabins with reverse cycle air-conditioning, cooking and bathroom facilities. The 2-bedroom cabins have separate kitchen/dining facilities and all have tv, crockery, cutlery and linen provided.
Wintersun Cabin and Caravan Park also provides grass and concrete sites under shady trees, in easy reach of amenities. It has a shaded swimming pool, bathrooms, dishwashing area and camp kitchen and laundry along with the caravanning facilities such as dump points, LPG gas and van storage.
The friendly office staff, steeped in local knowledge, can help you organise tours and activities to ensure that you get a real sense of the iconic Red Centre and Alice Springs. The park is ideally situated just 400m from shops. It is dog-free for those who prefer not to share their trip with neighbouring fur babies.
