The Deluxe Cabin even has a built-in spa bath for you to unwind in in the evening, and the Deluxe Apartment includes your own private laundry.
For smaller families of up to 4 people, you have plenty of choice. Whether you’re after a cabin or a unit, you’ll enjoy comfortable beds, private bathrooms and free wifi, as well as flat-screen TVs and air conditioning so you can cool off after a busy day.
Naturally, there is plenty of space if you’ve arrived at Discovery Parks – Rockhampton with the caravan or the tent. The park is filled with lush tropical trees, meaning that all sites are cool and shady with plenty of green grass.
While you’re relaxing, the kids will discover more things to do onsite than they could dream of. They can get their energy out on the tennis court and playground, or have fun on the pedal carts available to hire from the park office. The activity room includes X-Box Stations, a library, a TV Room and even a Toddler Room set up especially for the littlies. They can also spend hours swimming in the swimming pool or splashing around in the huge waterpark.
If you can convince the kids to leave all of the activities at Discovery Parks – Rockhampton, there are plenty of things to see and do around the area. Nature lovers will enjoy the Byfield National Park or you can take in the spectacular views at nearby Mt Archer. You can also learn about the crocodiles at the Koorana Crocodile Park, or enjoy discovering the history of Rockhampton at the Archer Park Rail Museum. A visit to Rockhampton should also include a day trip to the coast and Great Keppel Island.
