If you’re keen to go further north, it’s just over an hour to reach Bundaberg with its beaches, rum distillery, and the Mon Repos Turtle Centre.
The nearby Urangan Pier is one of the longest in Australia, where you can go fishing and see fish, stingrays, and dolphins in the water below. The closest airport to Hervey Bay Caravan Park is Hervey Bay Airport, which is less than 10 minutes’ drive from the park via Booral Road. When you reach Dayman Street, turn onto Margaret Street and the park is on your right.
If arriving from southern Queensland, Hervey Bay is approximately three and a half hours’ drive north from Brisbane, or two and a half hours’ drive north from the Sunshine Coast, via the Bruce Highway, Maryborough Hervey Bay Road, and Booral Road.
