Park Info

Australia’s oldest German town, Hahndorf, is the ideal location to base your stay in South Australia’s Adelaide Hills. Set among rolling hills and scenic bushland, and just 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD, the award-winning Discovery Parks - Hahndorf provides a range of accommodation to suit every holidaymaker.

Offering modern and comfortable Adelaide Hills accommodation in the heart of Hahndorf, the park has options to suit couples, families and groups whether they are looking to camp or enjoy the comforts of home. Choose from camp sites for a caravan, motorhome or tent, or other accommodation from self-contained units to resort-style rooms.

For campers and caravanners, set up on a roomy grassed site (including some drive through options to suit big rigs). Beautifully laid out among terraced grounds, all offer power and water and some are dog friendly.

Self-contained units and cottages can sleep up to 8 people, depending on configuration, making them an ideal option for families and groups. All come with kitchen facilities, modern bathrooms, and plenty of room to spread out and relax. The Lakeview House sleeps up to 10 and is newly renovated with two bathrooms and lovely views over the park’s lake.

Resort rooms are adults-only accommodation with tea/coffee facilities, bar fridge and ensuite bathroom.

Other facilities in the park provide a complete holiday experience, including large and fully equipped camp kitchen, under cover outdoor dining space, BBQs and amenities (including accessible amenities for the mobility impaired. Couple this with the sparkling swimming pool, mini golf course and giant chess, there’s so much to enjoy without leaving the park.
