This is a holiday park with accommodation options to suit every type of holiday maker. For those travelling in a caravan, camper trailer, motorhome or tent, there are spacious powered and unpowered campsites to choose from.
Self-contained cabin accommodation ranges en-suite cabins sleeping up to five, with double or queen bed options and two -bedroom villas with kitchen facilities, ensuite and spacious living area. Sites are dog friendly & there is also have a pet cabin which means the whole family can enjoy their stay!
Offering fantastic holiday park facilities including two playgrounds, creek cricket and communal campfire, it’s easy for the kids to play and for all ages to meet and socialise with fellow travellers. With crabbing nets and tubs available for hire and crab cooking stations in park, local blue swimmer crab makes for excellent dinner plans. Alternatively, cook up a storm on the park’s BBQs or head into the Ardrossan town centre for a range of takeaway options.
Beyond the park, Ardrossan has plenty of activities and attractions to explore. Popular Tiddy Widdy Beach is a favourite swimming spot, and the Ardrossan Lookout (just 1km out of town) has incredible views which, on a clear day, carry all the way across the Gulf of St Vincent to the distant Adelaide Hills.
Ardrossan is the perfect place to set up and explore the Yorke Peninsula. Drive out to the charming nearby towns of Maitland, Port Victoria and Port Vincent, or day trip to iconic Innes National Park on the tip of the peninsula to bask in the best of Yorke’s natural wonders, lighthouses, heritage sites and more. During the winter months, southern right whales visit the coastal waters and can be spotted from Innes National Park’s stunning cliff top lookouts and walks.
The ‘Walk the Yorke’ Trail covers the length and breadth of the Peninsula, with continuous walking trails along the stunning coastline, charming town walks, and the best local scenery. With routes for short walks, long walks, or full and multi day hikes, this is a terrific way to explore this special slice of South Australia.
