Park Info

For a peaceful slice of the Limestone Coast, plan your next holiday at Millicent Lakeside Caravan Park.

Located right next door to the town’s free, man-made swimming lake, the park also operates a takeaway café. That means you can splash around on sunny days and refuel with tasty, freshly cooked fish and chips.

Millicent Lakeside Caravan Park offers a range of air-conditioned cabin accommodation, with some options sleeping as many as six guests. From studio cabins to a two-bedroom apartment, cabins come with cooking facilities, a shower, and TV. Meanwhile, campers and their pets can set up on a powered or unpowered site amongst the relaxing park surroundings. Ensuite sites are available, as are drive-through sites for an added fee.

The park has a BBQ area and camp kitchen ready for flipping pancakes, sizzling sausages, and frying up your morning bacon and eggs. There are plenty of shady spots to enjoy meals and recreation, or you can head next door to the Millicent Swimming Lake to sprawl out on the lawns with takeaway goodies. Other handy facilities include a coin-operated laundry, amenities block (with disabled toilets and showers), and gas refills. Plus, the park is only a short walk away from the main street, shops, eateries, and supermarket.

Millicent is a great starting point to explore the Limestone Coast. Forty minutes on the road will get you to the seaside town of Beachport, the cellar doors of the Coonawarra Wine Region, and the incredible landmarks of Mount Gambier (from the Umpherston Sinkhole to the Blue Lake). Robe is also under an hour away.

To soak up the coastal scenery, visit one of the many local beaches or go bushwalking in Canunda National Park. Lake McIntyre is another top spot for walking and birdwatching. The Millicent Living History Museum offers a glimpse into the past, and the incredible pink and brown formations of the Tantanoola Caves are just a quarter of an hour away (or you can venture an hour north to see the Naracoorte Caves). Four-wheel driving enthusiasts will have their hands full with trails in Canunda National Park, Little Dip Conservation Park, and along Long Beach in Robe (while all vehicles can follow the Bowman Scenic Drive).

Whether you’re all about exploring the Limestone Coast or looking for a pleasant stopover stay on the journey between Adelaide and Melbourne, Millicent Lakeside Caravan Park is an excellent choice. Book your next stay through G’day Parks today!
