Lake Burrumbeet Caravan Park
Park features
If you need cabin accommodation, Lake Burrumbeet Caravan Park has a large number available, all with air conditioning, convenient parking and well-appointed kitchens. For caravaners or campers, this welcoming park offers spacious grassed areas to set up camp and settle in. There are powered and unpowered sites, all covered with grass and many are perfectly situated to offer peaceful lake views – the ideal holiday setting.
All guests can enjoy the range of facilities available onsite. These include the modern camp kitchen and BBQ area, as well as the large games room with billiard table and table tennis. Children love clambering over the playground and bouncing on the trampoline.
On warmer days there is a swimming pool for the whole family to enjoy. Lake Burrumbeet Caravan Park also welcomes the family dog, with dog-friendly sites available.
Lake Burrumbeet Caravan Park benefits not just from its tranquil location on the lake, but also from its proximity to the busy town of Ballarat just 18km away. Famous for its historic township, Sovereign Hill, Ballarat boasts theatres, restaurants, museums and galleries. In fact, you could head into Ballarat almost every day and still never run out of things to do.
Sovereign Hill itself is on the to-do list of many family holidays. It’s a remarkable open air museum, resembling a town of the goldrush 1850s.
However, sometimes a slower pace is just what you’re looking for in a holiday, and spending time at the Lake Burrumbeet Caravan Park will provide that peace and quiet.
Put your feet up in your comfortable cabin or camp site, reconnecting with nature and listening to the birds that surround the lake. Sit back and watch a gorgeous sunset and spot the stars as they come out.
There’s also a tennis court available and boat ramp nearby.
