Gold Nugget Tourist Park
Park features
Gold Nugget Tourist Park in Bendigo has something for everyone.
For much of the year, the park caters to the passing nomad traffic with a quiet ambience, shaded and spacious (slab or grassed) powered and en-suite sites, spotlessly clean modern amenities, free and unlimited wi-fi, bitumen roads throughout and a friendly face at reception.
The park is also a fun and welcoming holiday park, with accommodation options ranging from Poolside Executive and Superior family units to 2-bedroom Budget units, with or without bedding provided. All units are fully self-contained and include off-street parking.
Facilities include conference and function centre for business and family gatherings, camp kitchen, a small kiosk, tour desk, and laundry. Our fun facilities include the pool, 2 playgrounds, pedal karts, giant chess, mini golf, lawn bowls and Victoria’s largest jumping pillow. You also can try tennis, basketball or bocce. The park is dog friendly so there’s a dog wash for the fur-baby.
With unlimited (NBN) wi-fi available throughout the park, this is a top park offering real value for money.
Bendigo is Victoria’s fourth largest city and a tourist drawcard which could keep you busy for days.
Originally famous for its rich gold mining history, Bendigo is today a cultural icon with a thriving Arts precinct including the Bendigo Art Gallery, Capitol and Ulumbarra Theatres. You can explore local art galleries and follow the Bendigo Artists Walk – a great way to appreciate the city. If you’re feeling fit, you can take on Rosalind Park Poppet Head, a lookout with a fabulous view of Bendigo.
There is a rich mix of cultural influences in Bendigo, evident in the architecture and attractions such as the Golden Dragon Museum, Joss House Temple and heritage trams.
Out of the city there are walking and cycling trails to keep you moving, gardens and national parks to explore. Bendigo lakes and reservoirs are perfect for water skiing, paddle boarding and fishing.
