Benalla in Victoria’s High Country, just 2 hours from Melbourne, is a beautiful place for a holiday of any length.

The Broken River winds its way through town, surrounded by scenic Botanical Gardens with biking and walking tracks. There’s a vibrant art scene in Benalla so you can spot many sculptures and wall art around town on your way to visit the Benalla Art Gallery. For history buffs, this is Ned Kelly country, home to the Stringybark Creek Site. You’re only 20 minutes away from the Ned Kelly Museum and Homestead and 30 minutes from the Winton Wetlands.

Benalla Tourist Park, located close to the centre of town, offers comfortable accommodation in this picturesque region, with facilities including a swimming pool, BBQ, picnic area, new camp kitchen and a shared TV room.
