Alternatively, the deluxe penthouse apartments sleep up to 7 guests comfortably with lovely views, fully equipped kitchen and all mod-cons.
Lake Eildon is a fisherman’s dream, and the park provides plenty of facilities to make your days on the water the best they can be. With five boat ramps and on site jetty you can beat the peak seasons crowd and get out easily to chase down the catch of the day. With kayak hire available, everyone can explore the magnificent lake.
The park boasts outstanding holiday park facilities which will please even the fussiest of little campers – with games room, tennis court, jumping pillow, mini golf and seasonal cinema on offer to keep the kids entertained. There are two swimming pools for cooling off during the warmer months, and individual campfire hire for toasting the marshmallows in the cooler weather.
If you can bring yourself to explore beyond the park, Bonnie Doon is the gateway to Victoria’s high country, packed with things to see and activities to suit every kind of traveller. With Mount Buller, Mount Stirling and Mansfield all in easy distance, you can make your holiday as relaxed or as fast paced as you like.
Nature lovers will love the local scenic drives, nearly national parks and forests bursting with animal life. Explore on horseback via one of the local horse riding tours or, for something unique during snow season, head to Mount Buller and take a sled dog tour with a troop of rescued huskies.
Adventurers will enjoy plenty of options for trail biking, off road 4wd, fishing and bushwalking, or skiing and snowboarding at the height of the season. Head out to Mansfield to visit the excellent zoo, or spend a day sampling the delicious crisp white wines of the regional vineyards. Bonnie Doon and surrounds has it all.
