Learn to surf, mountain bike, take a Tiger Moth flight, drive along the Great Ocean Road to the 12 Apostles, or simply stroll along the white sands. You can sample fresh local produce, visit cool climate wineries and microbreweries. Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park has a range of immaculate accommodation options including glamping pods, cabins and caravan and camping sites – including some dog-friendly sites (seasonal). It has BBQs and amenities, playground, jumping pillow and fishing platforms, and the beach! The park is at the gateway to the Great Ocean Road, immersed in majestic natural beauty and it’s the ideal spot for a weekend away or an overnight camp, just 80 minutes from Melbourne. Experienced surfers can ride the waves the pros ride at Bells Beach or Jan Juc. Or if discretion is the better part of valour, you might just want to watch the professionals at the Rip Curl Pro on the World Championship Circuit over Easter or  peruse the gear at the Surf City Plaza or at the Baines Court Surf Seconds.
 
You can learn to surf at a number of surf schools or immerse yourself in surf culture at the Surf World Surfing Museum. Even if surfing is not your thing, there’s plenty of action with mountain biking, Tiger Moth rides, tours of the 12 Apostles or snorkelling around the Point Danger Marine Sanctuary. You might rather a stroll along sandy beaches or beneath tower cliffs and take in views along the Surf Coast Walk – even if you don’t want to sign up for the whole 40km event.
 
The region is rich in food and wine offerings with cafes studded along the coast, as well as cool climate wineries and microbreweries. It’s a foody heaven with fresh local products, including truffles, breads, cheeses and ice cream.
 
Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park is the ideal vantage point from which to take in all Torquay has to offer, from food and wine to beautiful beaches. The park is immaculate with BBQs, open space, playground, jumping pillow, and fishing platforms and, of course, the beach is right at your doorstep.
 
Accommodation includes more than 300 camping sites for caravans, mobile homes, vans and tents, including some dog friendly sites (although some date restrictions apply). All have power and water and access to the amenities.  There are glamping pods with toaster, kettle, mini bar, crockery/cutlery, heating, linen, communal bathrooms and BBQ area. Or you can find Seaview Cabins that sleep up to five people with kitchen, bathroom, linen, lounge and dining as well as garden view Seaside Cabins that sleep up to six people.
