Just 200m from the park is a fabulous playground for the kids as well as a coffee shop and café to grab a snack or a meal. Coogee Beach is one of the beaches on Cockburn Sound, which itself is one of the few shark-netted areas in Western Australia. That means you can safely enjoy swimming in the calm waters, or set up a fishing line to see if you can catch the evening meal. If you only want to get your feet wet, you can take a long walk on the beach and listen to the waves while you soak up the Western Australian sun.

Or head south to Rockingham with its great beaches, historical buildings and Naval memorial park.

Bus Stop
There is a bus stop at the front of the park that can take you directly into the hub of Fremantle. Just 15 minutes to reach the city or you can go the opposite direction to Rockingham for a day around Mangles Bay.
