The range of cabin accommodation at the Discovery Parks – Pilbara Karratha is huge, with options for every size group or family, including those with furry, four-legged family members. If you’ve arrived as a couple or you’re in town for work, there are plenty of choices including comfortable Studio Rooms in double or twin configurations, motel-style rooms and modern Deluxe Studios fitted out with every comfort. There are also pet-friendly Studio Rooms available on request.
For larger families or groups, there are plenty of Holiday units and cabins available. All of the units and cabins come complete with air-conditioning, modern styling, a fully-appointed kitchen and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. Pet-friendly units are available to ensure the family dog is just as comfortable as you are.
The drive to the Pilbara with a caravan or tent is an adventure, so you’ll be thrilled to settle in to one of the huge sites at the Pilbara Karratha Caravan Park. All of the sites benefit from the shade of mature eucalyptus trees and you can choose from grassed, paved and even ensuite powered sites to set up on.
Once you’ve settled in, you’re free to use all of the onsite facilities. Everyone will enjoy cooling off in the waterhole-style swimming pool, and the kids will enjoy running around on the playground or using one of the Park’s pedal karts to have some fun. Enjoy the walks in the nearby Karijini National Park, or take in the breathtaking scenery along the Yaburara Heritage Trail. You can also learn about the region while you explore the Cossack Heritage Trail, and there’s always the swimming and snorkelling opportunities along the glorious nearby coastline and around the Dampier Archipelago.
