Park Info

Cricket fans might be aware of Cootamundra’s place in the history of the game. Known as the birthplace of Australia’s greatest ever cricketer, Sir Donald Bradman, Cootamundra remains a prosperous rural town in the heart of the NSW Riverina region.

Centrally located to the main street but surrounded by agricultural fields, Cootamundra is popular with nature lovers who come each year to witness the extravagant winter blooming of the Cootamundra Wattle, and with those discovering the Canola Trail.

ACCOMMODATION

Set amongst extensive parkland, Cootamundra Caravan Park offers a variety of accommodation options. Choose from ensuite Family Cabins, Studio Rooms and spacious Powered and Unpowered Sites.

Newly refurbished, the Queen Studio Cabins are fully self-contained and designed for comfort. Ideal for singles and couples, like all cabins at the park, they come with a well-equipped kitchenette, ensuite bathroom and reverse cycle air conditioning.

Not far away, the 2-bedroom Family Cabins can accommodate up to six with one large double bed and two sets of single bunks. If you’re looking for a laid-back family escape that’s affordable and comfortable for everyone, these cabins do it all.

For those travelling on a budget, the Basic Studio Cabins with and without Ensuite are a great option. With one main bed in an open-plan living room, a kitchenette with full-sized fridge, microwave, cook-top and crockery makes these ideal for those who prefer to self-cater.

In terms of camping and caravan options, all sites inside the parks – powered and unpowered – are large, grassed and come with plenty of shade. All sites are pet-friendly, meaning no need to leave your best friend at home, and are large enough for most motorhomes and 5th wheelers.

INSIDE THE PARK

Facilities inside Cootamundra Caravan Park include two well-maintained shower blocks, an accessible bathroom, and laundry facilities with coin-operated washing machines and bathrooms.

The Camp Kitchen features coin-operated BBQs, a communal microwave oven, small fridge and dishwashing area.

Overall, the site is abundantly green and surrounded by fields. This attracts a wide variety of birdlife which makes Cootamundra Caravan Park a great spot for bird lovers.

The Cootamundra Pool and Sports Stadium is a short walk away, and has one heated indoor 25m pool, one 50m outdoor pool and loads of splash play areas for kids.

Adjoining the caravan park is a spacious field and recreation ground, including the famous Captain’s Walk.
