Southern New South Wales is one of the State’s favourite holidaying destinations, boasting rich countryside, charming towns, and some of the best stretches of coastline for swimming, water sports and whale watching. NRMA Tathra Beachfront Holiday Park is the perfect hideaway for next beach holiday, where you can relax with the sand between your toes! Whether you’re arriving with the caravan or looking for a luxury getaway with all the trimmings, NRMA Tathra Beachfront Holiday Park has accommodation options to suit all styles and budgets.
Set over 5 spacious hectares with more than half a kilometre of absolute beach frontage, choose from powered and ensuite camping sites, a range of beach houses, surf shacks, cabins and villas, or make your holiday experience something to remember with a stay in a Safari Tent or one of our new Luxe Glamping Tents. Sites and selected cabins are dog friendly, so your four-legged friend can enjoy a beach holiday too!
Groups and large families can spread out in the spectacular modern 3-bedroom beach houses, with fully equipped gourmet kitchen, spacious lounge/dining and two bathrooms. Surf villas light and airy, tucked close behind the sand dunes with the ocean just step away, and the park’s funky Surf Shacks are self-contained studio units for comfort and convenience.
The beachfront glamping safari tents offer luxury under canvas, with modern internal bathrooms and freestanding bathtubs for the ultimate in relaxation
Kids will love exploring the park’s huge range of kid friendly facilities, with the water park and heated outdoor swimming pool and playground. While the kids play, the adults can mingle by the camp kitchen or grab a hot drink from our onsite coffee van.
The beach is the highlight of NRMA Tathra Beachfront Holiday Park, with the white sand and stunning views of the Sapphire Coast. The waters offer fantastic diving and snorkelling, as well as plenty of options for kayaking, boating and paddle boarding. Through the winter months the south coast comes alive with migrating whales, with local tours on offer for whale watching cruises. With nearby rivers and estuaries to explore, this is a hot spot for fishing, bird watching and walking trails.
Head into Tathra to explore local cafes, shops, and restaurants, or slip on your sneakers for the famous Wharf to Wharf walk, stretching almost 30km along the pristine coastline from Tathra to Merimbula. The trail takes you through spectacular bushwalking trails which can be sampled in sections or as a whole, and links through stunning Bournda National Park.
