The town of Yeppoon has markets, walking trails and museums, including the amazing Shell World, displaying over 20,000 different kinds of shells and coral. You can also catch a boat out to the nearby Keppel Islands, or try your hand at snorkelling or diving in the surrounding warm waters filled with marine life. You can also go kayaking on the nearby Causeway Lake, or take a walk around it and discover the local birds and wildlife.
