If the fishing has been less successful, take a seat at the café and bar on site which offers meals in the evening and café style food during the day.
As well as fishing and swimming, you can enjoy Lake Maraboon by hiring a boat, or hire a kayak at the park and paddle along at your own pace. This holiday park also offers a swimming pool and slide.
The nearby town of Emerald has beautiful botanic gardens to explore as well as plenty of historic buildings and galleries to visit. The Emerald and Sapphire Fields are just 40 kilometres away, where you can try fossicking or take a guided mine tour. You might be lucky enough to unearth a gem!
