Fraser Island is a spectacular sand island just off the coast of Queensland, just hours away from Brisbane. With unique scenery, white beaches and over 100 freshwater lakes, the World Heritage listed island can be reached by boat from the town of Hervey Bay on the mainland.
Situated in the heart of the bustling coastal town, Tasman Holiday Parks - Hervey Bay is only minutes from the Fraser Island departure point, as well as an easy trip from the plentiful beaches for which the areas is known.
If you’re looking for comfortable cabins, the park offers a range suitable for all sizes of group and all budgets. With 4-berth and 6-berth cabins available, you’ll have plenty of space whether you’ve arrived with the family or couple. All cabins boast modern fittings, air conditioning and private bathrooms.
Caravans and tents are most welcome, with grassy powered sites surrounded by shady trees. There are also ensuite sites available for your convenience and many of the sites are dog friendly, so your four-legged family members can enjoy the holiday too.
While staying at Tasman Holiday Parks - Hervey Bay, all guests are welcome to make use of onsite swimming pool as well as the spacious camp kitchen and BBQs where you can prepare the family meal. There is also an activity room for the kids and a kiosk for any of those last minute necessities you might have forgotten.

During the July to November season, there’s a good chance you’ll spot a majestic humpback leaping out of the water just metres from the shore. There are also miles of white, sandy beaches to walk or relax on, fronting onto crystal clear water which the kids will just love paddling or swimming in.
There’s also plenty of fishing in the area, or head out on one of the many walking trails or 4-WD sand tracks which are close to the town. If you prefer a more sedate pace, the Hervey Bay Esplanade offers 14km of shared pathways with plenty of places to stop and grab a bite and soak up the gorgeous beach scenery.
