Nestled on the banks of the Bjelke-Petersen Dam in South Burnett, Queensland, Yallakool Caravan and Holiday Park is a fisherman’s haven, with the dam filled with fish all year around. Grab a fishing permit and try your luck with a fishing line or enter one of the many fishing competitions throughout the year.
 
Yallakool Park offers a range of accommodation from generous sites with a view over the dam to spacious 2-bedroom villas, as well as 5-berth cabins with kitchenette, TV and air conditioning. There is a swimming pool, tennis court and a modern playground, camp kitchen or BBQs and a campfire to sit around and discuss the day’s catch. The dam is also the ideal location for kayaking, knee-boarding, water skiing and jet -skiing. The local area boasts many wineries, as well as museums and walks so you can soak up the beauty of the natural surrounds.  There is a well-stocked kiosk on site, or, for larger purchases the township of Murgon is a short drive away.
