Marlo Caravan Park and Motel
Park features
Let the Snowy River lead you to Marlo Caravan Park and Motel for a magical Gippsland getaway.
At the park, you’ll find powered sites (including drive-through sites) and a wide range of cabins. Studio cabins offer a modern and compact space for solo and couple travellers, and deluxe cabins are perfect for a spacious stay. Motel units sleep up to six people, while budget and park cabins provide great value. All cabins have heating and air conditioning.
Park facilities include a playground, fire pit, camp kitchen, BBQs, disabled and family bathroom, laundry, boat wash, and free wi-fi. The historic Marlo Hotel is just across the road (as well as a ship-themed playground that’s bound to be a hit if you’re travelling with kids), and the general store is a couple doors down.
At your disposal, you have beaches, wetlands, rainforest, sand dunes, and the river mouth to explore, with opportunities to paddle board, cycle, and hike around the lake. Fishing is the talk of the town, and it’s easy to see why. The park is a short walk away from the jetty and two public boat ramps where you can set off on fishing voyages. The estuary is known for bream, perch, yellow eyed mullet, trevally, tailor, and luderick.
If you’re more about catching waves than fish, drive to superb surf beaches like Cape Conran. The town of Orbost is only fifteen minutes away, where you can hike through the Snowy River National Park, or keep heading north towards the intricate cave system at Buchan Caves.
There’s wonder to be found at the mouth of the river. Book your next getaway at Marlo Caravan Park and Motel today.
