Park Info
Yea Riverside Caravan and Holiday Park is situated in the town of Yea, less than 100km west of Melbourne in the Victorian High Country. The area is renowned for its spectacular scenery and natural beauty both summer and winter. The township of Yea is a historic agricultural and dairy town which proudly displays its gold mining heritage through the many original buildings dotting the town. It is the perfect destination for a relaxing holiday, or if you are heading up for summer hikes or winter ski trips to Mt. Buller, just a short journey away.
Yea Riverside Caravan Park caters for every kind of visitor, from families to groups, solo travellers to couples. If you’re arriving with your caravan or a tent, the powered and unpowered sites are all shady, wide and green. If you prefer cabin accommodation, all of the options are modern and immaculate. Choose from the studio villas, just perfect for a couple with ensuite bathroom and well-appointed kitchenette. Or if you are travelling with a larger group or family, the 2- bedroom villa sleeps 6 people comfortably. As well as air-conditioning, large sitting area with a flat screen TV and generously sized kitchen, many of the cabins enjoy unimpeded views of the river, with a verandah perfectly placed to watch the river flow by.
The caravan and holiday park is immaculate, filled with shady trees and lush, green grassed areas for picnics or play. There is a large activity room with a wide, clean verandah, as well as a spotless camp kitchen available for all visitors to cook up a meal. The on-site swimming pool is crystal clear and is reached by covered walkways and shaded by a sail. The kids also have a playground to keep them busy while you sit and relax by your accommodation and take in the clean, High Country air.
If you need advice on activities to do around Yea and the surrounding areas, the Yea Riverside Caravan Park’s office also doubles as a tour desk. The town offers a range of historical points of interest, including Beaufort Manor and the Yea Shire Hall. If you’re after some more energetic activities, Yea Riverside Caravan park is a great base to join the Great Victorian Rail Trail for walking or cycling. The Yea River offers water activities, including fishing, but it also meanders around a large reserve known as the Yea wetlands which is filled with walking tracks, boardwalks and bridges to explore.
