There are nearby four-wheel driving opportunities along Preston Beach and the sandy dunes south of Tim's Thicket Beach.
If you are looking for a more immersive connection to nature, you can do some forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) along the Jarrah and Marri forest trails, see living fossils (the thrombolites at Lake Clifton in Yalgorun National Park), or stroll through the treetops at the Forest Heritage Centre at Dwellingup.
