Park Info
Mandurah, Western Australia’s largest regional city, just an hour south of Perth, has everything you need for a beach holiday, spoiled for choice with sandy beaches and an estuary twice the size of Sydney Harbour.

Mandurah Twin Waters Caravan Park, just a hop-step from the boat ramp and 15-minutes from the centre of Mandurah is the perfect place for a coastal getaway. It’s close to all the action with no fewer than five restaurants on the doorstep, shops and services nearby. Yet, within the park, guests will feel miles away from it all.

There’s plenty to do within the park – a lovely swimming pool, playground, pizza oven and crab cooker for those mighty blue manna crabs caught nearby. Guests can cruise the canals to spot dolphins, or hire a canoe or paddleboat or head to King’s Carnival for a seaside carnival with sideshow games and a ferris wheel.

It’s also worth checking the What’s On calendar as Mandurah hosts a range of shows and festivals including the annual Mandurah Crab Fest. There’s surfing, mountain biking and hiking through national parks and it’s a bird lover’s paradise with thousands of birds passing through the estuary.

Take your binoculars to the Len Howard Conservation Park which features the Erskine nature tail with boardwalks over wetlands or explore the Serpentine Falls on Kitty’s Gorge Walk.  There’s 4-wheel driving nearby along Preston Beach and the sandy dunes south of Tim's Thicket Beach.

If you are looking for a more immersive connection to nature, you can do some forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) along the Jarrah and Marri forest trails, discover living fossils – the thrombolites at Lake Clifton in Yalgorun National Park, or stroll through the treetops at the Forest Heritage Centre at Dwellingup.

Mandurah Twin Waters Caravan Park has a range of accommodation from a newly renovated, dog-friendly 4-bedroom family home, to deluxe cabins, some with ocean views. All are well equipped with microwave, fridge and air conditioning with all linen and towels supplied, along with coffee, tea, milk and sugar.

If you prefer to BYO accommodation, stretch out on the shady sites with plenty of room for boats, caravans and parking and pets are permitted by arrangement. The ablution blocks are newly renovated and there is a well-equipped laundry with large washers and dryers. There’s even handy access to gas re-filling.
