Darwin & Katherine | Northern Territory

AUSTRALIA'S GREAT TOP END

Where the outback meets the tropics, Australia’s world-famous ‘Top End’ comes to life. Known for iconic attractions including Kakadu and Litchfield National Park’s, remote Arnhem Land, Adelaide River and Katherine Gorge to name a few, any NT trip should include an exploration of these incredible natural wonders.

Home to the smallest, wettest, and most northerly of Australian capitals, the newly cosmopolitan Darwin is now a hub for Asian-inspired cuisine and a sun-drenched base from which to immerse yourself in spectacular crocodile country!

From the sparkling Darwin Harbour to the city’s beach-fronted sunset markets, Darwin is still a uniquely Australian destination full of unforgettable characters and amazing indigenous culture. Three-hundred kilometres down the road, Katherine is its nearest Top End neighbour, and another location where you can double-down on wonder. Images of Katherine Gorge and its surrounding rockpools, waterfalls and thermal springs speak for themselves, making it no surprise that NT locals have made it a regular weekend away.
