If you prefer the rolling hills, travel inland to Bega for art galleries, outdoor adventures, and the famous cheese factory. Explorers should check out the walking tracks, fishing and surfing spots, and spectacular lookout views at Mimosa Rocks National Park.

Getting to Kalaru Holiday Village

Kalaru Holiday Village is located approximately halfway between Sydney and Melbourne, and three hours from Canberra.

From Sydney, drive south via the Princes Highway (or Remembrance Driveway, Monaro Highway, and Snowy Mountains Highway) for approximately six hours. After passing Bega, turn left onto Tathra Road. As you arrive in Kalaru, you’ll find the park on the right side of the road.

From Melbourne, travel approximately seven hours via the Princes Highway. In Pambula, turn onto Arthur Kaine Drive and pass through Merimbula onto Sapphire Coast Drive. Turn left onto Tathra Road, and you’ll find the park on the left side of the road.
