At Collendina Caravan Park, coastal camping and caravan sites meet fantastic in-park facilities spread across 30 lush hectares. Whether you need an unpowered site to pitch your tent or you’re looking to roll up onto a powered site with your RV, there’s a spot for every kind of camper.
It’ll be hard to resist the call of the beach on a sunny day, especially with just 350 metres separating you from the shore. The park also has a refreshing swimming pool, along with a nine-hole golf course, pickleball courts, basketball court, Aussie Rules football field, playground, and games room to keep you well entertained. As for the features that keep your caravan park stay ticking along smoothly, the park has BBQs, camp kitchen, and laundry facilities.
Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula are teeming with things to see and do. Visit the multitude of wineries and breweries. Explore the charming town of Point Lonsdale and its iconic lighthouse. Go bushwalking and birdwatching in Ocean Grove Nature Conservation Reserve. See the animals at Jirrahlinga Dingo Conservation Wildlife and Education Centre. Stroll along the Geelong waterfront. Local Markets are in abundance, and the theme park thrills and spills of Adventure Park Geelong are only a quarter of an hour away. When the day is done, wander down the road to the Ocean Grove Hotel for dinner and a drink.
It doesn’t stop there. If you want a taste of Victoria’s famous Great Ocean Road, head to Torquay (where surf is the main agenda) or Anglesea. It’s also possible to make a day out of visiting the Mornington Peninsula - the Queenscliff ferry terminal is less than 20 minutes away, where you can cross over to explore beaches, hot springs, and the Sorrento shops.
