Park Info
Known as an inland aquatic paradise, Yarrawonga on the River Murray in Victoria, is the ideal location for a family holiday filled with river activities, gourmet treats and a spectacular natural environment.
Yarrawonga Riverlands Tourist Park is situated just a stone’s throw from the river and offers a wide range of accommodation for every visitor. Catering particularly for families, the park has a choice of dog-friendly accommodation. The grassed or gravel powered and un-powered sites are large and flat. Cabin accommodation includes a dog-friendly family cabin, which sleeps up to 6 people, or there are also standard cabins and studio cabins sleeping 4 and 2.
If you aren’t travelling with the dog, the Rivergum Villas are modern and spacious and also sleep up to 6 people. Like all of the cabins at Yarrawonga Riverlands Tourist Park, it has a comfortable sitting area, well-appointed kitchen, TV and air-conditioning.
You can cook up a meal in the camp kitchen and then sit out under the stars to enjoy it. The kids will be spoilt for choice in activities, with a seasonal swimming pool, on-site playground, and outdoor novelty chess and draughts to keep them busy. On cooler days, the activity room is packed with things to do including a pool table, table tennis table and a large TV.
The park offers a fully fenced off-leash play area especially for dogs, where you can sit while he plays and explores. But Yarrawonga Riverlands Tourist Park is so close to the Murray River, he’ll never tire of the walks and fun available right on the doorstep.
The tour desk can direct you to nearby wineries to try the wines and taste the gourmet fare on offer. Or they will happily provide information on the many options you have for fishing, boating or water skiing available on the river, or kids’ activities such as the Tunzafun playground.
