Great Ocean Road | Victoria
Putting the 'Great' in Great Ocean Road
This is one of the world’s most famous coastal drives for a reason.
Actually, there are many reasons this has become an iconic Australian journey, including the fact that around every corner there are picture-perfect postcard views to enjoy, not to mention glorious national parks.
Roughly 250 kilometres in length from Torquay to Allansford (depending on which way you travel), this epic road trip shows off the best of Victoria’s rugged beauty along the windswept Southern Ocean. Dotted with famous surf towns and beach breaks, there is so much to see and do, visitors can never be bored or lonely.
The Twelve Apostles (just outside of Port Campbell) is a must-see, the open expanse of Lorne Beach is well worth a lunch stop, and a day or three exploring the Great Otway National Park is a sound investment in time!
