Rivergum Holiday Park is a truly special place by the Murray River in Corowa.
Built on the foundations of the former Lindeman’s Winery and Cellars, this holiday park is right next to the river, as well as a wetlands reserve with walking trails. The bush setting strikes the perfect relaxed vibe for your getaway.
This pet-friendly park has an abundance of shady powered and unpowered camping sites, for everything from tents to motorhomes. Whether you want to camp beside the river or need a drive-through site for a supersized vehicle, they’ve got all bases covered.
Rivergum Holiday Park also offers a selection of cabins, including studios and Pool Villas for couples or two-bedroom Holiday Cabins and Deluxe Cabins for families. A Pool Cottage stay is great in all seasons, with air conditioning to beat the heat and a gas log fire to warm up on chilly evenings.
As if the location wasn’t enough, Rivergum Holiday Park is also filled with amazing activities. There are two pools (including a solar-heated section for toddlers), a bouncing pillow, outdoor games, tennis and basketball courts, a fitness trail, and an adventure playground. They also run wagon rides and a seasonal Koala Kids Club for children, and have converted the historic, red-brick cellars of the old winery into an indoor play centre.
For holiday essentials, it’s only a short stroll into town, or you can head to the kiosk for staples like cold drinks, ice cream, milk, newspapers, ice, and gas refills. The park also has a tour desk to help you arrange activities with the best local intel, along with helpful facilities like a guest laundry, sparkling amenities, BBQ areas, and a pizza oven. Anglers in pursuit of a Murray cod have two boat ramps at their fingertips. If you’d prefer to stay on land, bring a picnic rug and settle in for an afternoon by the banks. When the weather allows, there is a seasonal communal fire pit or you can bring a raised fire pit for your own site.
Take your pick of local areas to explore, including the Rutherglen Wine Region (ten minutes), Yarrawonga–Mulwala (30 minutes), and Albury–Wodonga (45 minutes). For more vineyard adventures, embark on a day trip to the King Valley. Closer to home, visit Corowa Federation Museum and the local whisky and chocolate factory at Corowa Distilling Co. Walk through the neighbouring wetlands reserve, or cover the Rutherglen to Wahgunyah section of the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail.
