What's not to love about a market? Filled to the brim with local produce, artisan goods, handmade crafts, and one-of-a-kind souvenirs, they are the ultimate way to taste the region and sample everything your destination has on offer.

Markets are also a more sustainable way to shop and make sure your tourism dollars are directly supporting the local makers who make the place what it is. Because of this, you get to hang out at an event with unmistakeable energy that's powered by community (and maybe a little bit of live entertainment!).

To increase your appetite for checking out the local market scene, we’ve listed some of our favourite ones near G'day Parks. Obviously, there are hundreds of markets to choose from, so just treat this as a starting point. It's always a good idea to look up what's happening during your dates before hitting the road, or you can ask the park's reception team when you check in.
